  • Responsibilities 

    This position may be a mix of day and evening shifts.  Evening responsibilities include assisting with guest escorts, closing the pools, and patrolling the park.  In addition, there are the normal maintenance duties of emptying trash bins and doggie stations, keeping the store stocked with ice and frozen cocktails, doing the evening census and watching for car tags and wristbands.  There’s always something to do!  This position is for 4 days per week, leaving plenty of time to explore the area on your days off.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    As an OAK property, our site rent for your FHU site is $200 per month, via payroll deduction. You are paid for all hours worked. Our starting pay rate is $12 per hour. We offer store discounts as well as propane discounts.

  • Conditions  RV Required 
  • Job Length  Seasonal (4-6 months)

Join our team to enjoy your time on our beautiful campground, known for fun events, live music, and the ultimate beach vibes! Galveston Island KOA is located at Galveston, Texas. We are right across the street from the beach and there are so many great things to explore on your days off.

Due to unexpected medical issues, we have a couple who have to leave immediately.  This could be to finish out the winter, or to stay on for the spring/summer season.  Summer staff get first priority for winter positions.
