  • Responsibilities 

    nullAREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
    – Clean cabins, restrooms, and showers
    – Ready cabins for incoming guests
    – Cleaning chemical management
    – Launder rags, mops, etc from utility closet
    – Clean office, pavilion when needed if time allows
    – Lite maintenance projects when something’s discovered while cleaning

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Compensation:
    For each hour worked in role of CLEAN TEAM only, Work Campers will be paid NY State minimum wage of $15.00 not to exceed a total of 20 hours per week without express OWNER permission. Note: not every week, especially in May, September and October will require as many as 20 hours. In addition, Work Campers will be provided with an RV site with full hook up (water/sewer/electric), free propane, and 20% discount in-store items over $10 (sale items excluded from discount), plus $10 per week laundry allowance. Family that visits will get 20% off RV sites and 15% off Deluxe Cabins, minimum nights required will apply, good for up to 5 nights per season then regular rates resume.

Job Description

Are you a baseball fan? Do you like to hike, swim or boat? Do you enjoy the cultural experience of opera and fine dining? Maybe you enjoy a good micro-brew or wine tasting at a vineyard? It’s all here in the Cooperstown, NY area!
We are looking for people that enjoy working as part of a team, are personable and self-motivated.
Our campground, situated among cattle pastures and Amish country, has been a KOA since 1974. We have full hookup & water/electric RV sites with both 30 & 50 amp electric service. We also have camping cabins, deluxe cabins, and tent sites. We don’t have cable TV, but we do have excellent fiber optic WiFi, and cell phone reception is very good.
This is very much a part-time job for 2 people, and singles are also welcome!
Hours are:
Friday, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, 11am until finished – restrooms, showers, and any cabin. Usually takes 1-2 hours
Sunday 11-3
Monday, 11am – until finished – restrooms, showers and any cabin. Usually takes 1-2 hours
The rest of the week is all yours.
