Position Summary
Circle Pines KOA Resort is looking for an organized, dependable, and hands-on Housekeeping Lead to oversee our housekeeping department year-round.
This position is primarily responsible for organizing the cleaning, presentation, and readiness of all campground accommodations, restrooms, laundry facilities, and assigned public areas. With support from the Assistant Housekeeping Lead and housekeeping team, you will coordinate daily work, maintain standards, manage supplies, and help keep the department running smoothly.
Our strongest housekeeping leaders provide clear, respectful direction, work alongside their team, and take pride in creating a clean, welcoming experience for every guest.
Department Responsibilities
Our housekeeping team cares for:

14 rustic one- and two-room cabins

6 lodges of various sizes

6 Conestoga wagons

3 glamping tents

3 tipis

4 bathhouse facilities

Guest laundry and other assigned public areas
Primary Responsibilities

Organize daily housekeeping assignments based on arrivals, departures, occupancy, and campground priorities.

Lead and work alongside the team to clean accommodations, restrooms, bathhouses, laundry facilities, and public areas.

Inspect completed work and ensure accommodations and facilities consistently meet cleanliness and presentation standards.

Coordinate with the front desk and management regarding accommodation readiness, guest requests, and changing priorities.

Assist with staff scheduling, assign responsibilities, and adjust workloads to meet daily needs.

Train and coach team members on cleaning procedures, department expectations, safe equipment use, and efficient work habits.

Maintain inventory of cleaning products, guest amenities, towels, blankets, linens, and department equipment.

Order supplies within management’s purchasing procedures and communicate needs before shortages occur.

Oversee housekeeping laundry operations and keep laundry and storage areas clean, stocked, and organized.

Coordinate the receipt, counting, organization, and preparation of linens provided by the linen service.

Report and follow up on maintenance issues, damages, missing items, and equipment concerns.

Plan and coordinate deep cleaning, seasonal preparation, and other housekeeping projects throughout the year.

Address housekeeping-related guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed.

Communicate clearly with the Assistant Housekeeping Lead so the department remains organized during your absence.

Perform other reasonable job-related duties based on campground needs.

Working at our campground:
Schedule and Availability
This is a full-time, year-round position. Schedules vary with occupancy, arrivals and departures, seasonal projects, and campground needs.
Weekend and holiday availability is required. The Housekeeping Lead must be prepared to support the department during busy periods while keeping routine cleaning, inventory, and longer-term projects organized throughout the year.
