GUEST SERVICES / REGISTRATION & STORE
You are often the first person our guests meet — and the person they remember.
We're looking for a dependable, friendly team member who genuinely enjoys meeting people and providing great customer service. This position is a great fit for someone who is organized, comfortable multitasking and able to stay positive when the campground gets busy.
You will work closely with our Owners, Management, Workampers and local employees. We work together, communicate and pitch in for one another. While you will have your own responsibilities, you're never expected to handle the campground on your own.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.

Check guests in and out and assist with reservations and registrations.

Operate our computer and POS system, including the KOA K2 reservation system.

Answer phones and assist guests with questions and requests.

Provide information about Ely, Great Basin National Park, local attractions, recreation and area events.

Open, maintain and/or close the registration area, store, laundry room and restrooms.

Keep the registration area and store clean, organized and guest-ready.

Restock merchandise and supplies, price merchandise and maintain an attractive store.

Balance cash and complete basic registration and store responsibilities.

Obtain required propane certification and safely assist with propane sales.

Deliver firewood to guest sites.

Educate guests about campground rules and politely enforce those rules when necessary.

Assist other departments when needed.

Previous campground, hospitality, customer service, retail or office experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
If you have additional skills or talents, let us know. We have a small campground with a wide variety of needs, and special skills are often put to good use throughout the property.
KOA shirts and name badges will be provided. Employees are expected to dress appropriately for the work and weather while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

We expect our Workampers to honor the full term of their agreement and to be dependable members of the team. In return, we will do our best to provide a positive, rewarding and enjoyable work-camping experience.
For the right person, a seasonal position may also lead to additional seasons or year-round employment.
