HOUSEKEEPING TEAM MEMBER

Our Housekeeping Team plays an important role in creating the clean, comfortable and welcoming campground experience our guests expect.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and understands that great housekeeping is about more than cleaning — it's about helping create a campground that guests want to come back to.

You will work closely with our Owners, Management, Workampers and local employees. We work together, communicate and pitch in for one another. You will have your own responsibilities, but you're never expected to do everything alone.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Clean and maintain restrooms, cabins, deluxe cabins, camper kitchen, tipis and other common areas.

• Clean and maintain RV and tent sites, picnic tables, pet walks and other campground areas.

• Monitor and replenish restroom and guest supplies.

• Maintain clean and organized linen and supply areas.

• Operate washers and dryers and keep clean linens available.

• Safely handle and replenish cleaning chemicals.

• Inspect guest areas and report maintenance needs to Management.

• Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the campground.

• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner while working throughout the campground.

• Politely remind guests of campground rules when necessary.

• Assist other team members when the campground gets busy.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who:

• Can work independently while also being a strong team player.

• Has a positive, upbeat can-do attitude.

• Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

• Works well with a variety of personalities.

• Can adapt when the campground gets busy or plans change.

• Treats guests, coworkers and Management with respect.

Previous housekeeping, campground, hospitality or cleaning experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.

If you have additional skills or talents, let us know. We have a small campground with a wide variety of needs, and special skills are often put to good use throughout the property.

KOA shirts and name badges will be provided. Employees are expected to dress appropriately for the work and weather while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

We expect our Workampers to honor the full term of their agreement and to be dependable members of the team. In return, we will do our best to provide a positive, rewarding and enjoyable work-camping experience.

For the right person, a seasonal position may also lead to additional seasons or year-round employment.
