Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
- Oversee daily front desk operations including guest check-in, check-out, and guest assistance.
- Provide friendly, professional, and welcoming service to all campground guests.
- Assist guests with campground information, site locations, amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Address guest questions, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Reservations & Booking Management
- Manage campground reservations using the reservation system, ensuring accurate bookings and site assignments.
- Assist guests with making reservations by phone, online, and in person.
- Monitor site availability, occupancy levels, and reservation accuracy.
- Coordinate group reservations, special requests, and extended stays.
- Process payments, deposits, and refunds according to campground policies.
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information.
Camp Store & Retail Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the campground camp store or retail area.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well stocked with merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and merchandise.
- Process retail sales and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
- Promote campground merchandise, snacks, supplies, and other retail items to guests.
- Support seasonal merchandise displays and store organization.
Staff Leadership & Team Support
- Supervise and support office staff including front desk associates and retail team members.
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new office staff.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure high guest service standards are maintained.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Communication & Department Coordination
- Maintain strong communication between the office, maintenance, housekeeping, and management teams.
- Ensure guest requests and service issues are communicated to the appropriate departments.
- Assist management in coordinating campground events, activities, and guest communications.
- Provide updates and important operational information to office staff
Policies, Procedures & Financial Accountability
- Ensure staff follow campground policies, procedures, and guest service standards.
- Maintain accurate financial procedures related to reservations, store sales, and daily transactions.
- Assist with daily cash handling, register balancing, and transaction reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and campground business operations.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at the front desk or retail counter.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced guest service environment.
Work Environment
This position works primarily in the campground office and camp store and may require evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak camping season. The role requires flexibility and the ability to assist guests during busy check-in periods and high-volume retail times.
