  • Responsibilities

    Check with front desk for cabins needing cleaned. Check with front desk for any emergency that needs immediate attention. Wipe tables and chairs as needed.
    Check golf cart and inspect for necessary tools and supplies. Empty trash and replace liner.
    Check all smoke detectors are operational and cover is secure. Sweep and mop floors. (under tables and chairs as well)
    Make sure door locks are functional and easy to operate.
    Check for burned out light bulbs.
    Check AC or heater operation. Check filters, note if maintenance is needed.   Use broom to clean window track and bed slats (under mattress).
    Perform the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning programs for specific buildings and facilities as outlined by manager. Spray with disinfectant and wipe down : Tables, benches, window sills, door locks, light switches, outlet covers.
    Use appropriate cleaning chemicals on appropriate iems and only as trained. Do not mix chemicals together or use straight out of original bottle. Must use appropriate safety measures such as gloves. Both sides of the mattress cover. Stand on side to air dry. REPORT BAD STAINS OR TORN MATTRESSES.
    Be aware of blood borne pathogen procedures and contact manager as needed. Clean mirror and inside windows with glass cleaner.
    Bring all lost and found items to the office with cabin or site number on them with date found. If it is something valuable, it needs to be brought to the manager. Sweep floors, underneath and behind beds. Empty trash and replace liner.
    Submit list of supplies : toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, hand soap, cleaning supplies, golf cart repairs that need to be ordered on as needed basis. Once dry, lay down mattress and straighten.
    Report all broken and damaged items within the facilities or on the grounds.   Mop floors and porch with cleaner.

  • Compensation/Benefits

    Your pay rate will be $13.85 per hour. Work hours will be 4 hours per day 5 days per week for a total of 20 hours/week.
    Hours more than 40 hours per week will not be allowed.

    Your site rent will be $400.00/month includes full hook up back in, 50/30 amp electric.

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the campground buildings including the public spaces and all accommodations according to standards. All areas should be efficiently cleaned within the allotted times while providing great guest service.
We have 4 rustic cabins, 1 rec room, 1 bath house (6 showers, 8 sinks, 5 toilets)
Basic reading abilities.
Must be able to operate golf cart.
Ability to work under wet and slippery conditions.
