Position Title: Guest Activities Coordinator

Location: KOA Campground, Rochester, MN

Employment Type: Part-Time

Work Schedule:

  • Main Activities: Saturdays
  • Extended Activities: Special holidays
  • Additional Duties: Friday afternoons (escorting guests, delivering firewood and ice)

Overview:
The KOA Campground in Rochester, MN is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Guest Activities Coordinator to host and facilitate all guest activities. The activities will be pre-planned for the season, but we welcome new suggestions from the Coordinator. This role is vital for enhancing our guests’ experience and ensuring they have a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Host and facilitate all planned activities for guests, primarily on Saturdays and extended during special holidays.
  • Provide a fun and engaging environment for guests of all ages.
  • Be open to suggesting and implementing new activities to enhance guest experience.
  • Assist with escorting guests to their sites on Friday afternoons.
  • Deliver firewood and ice to guests as needed on Friday afternoons.
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Report any issues or guest feedback to management.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, or event planning is not required but is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality, with a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with flexible availability for special holiday events.
  • Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks and activities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and engaging in recreational activities.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation:

  • Free campsite for the season.
