- Main Activities: Saturdays
- Extended Activities: Special holidays
- Additional Duties: Friday afternoons (escorting guests, delivering firewood and ice)
Overview:
The KOA Campground in Rochester, MN is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Guest Activities Coordinator to host and facilitate all guest activities. The activities will be pre-planned for the season, but we welcome new suggestions from the Coordinator. This role is vital for enhancing our guests’ experience and ensuring they have a memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host and facilitate all planned activities for guests, primarily on Saturdays and extended during special holidays.
- Provide a fun and engaging environment for guests of all ages.
- Be open to suggesting and implementing new activities to enhance guest experience.
- Assist with escorting guests to their sites on Friday afternoons.
- Deliver firewood and ice to guests as needed on Friday afternoons.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Report any issues or guest feedback to management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, or event planning is not required but is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality, with a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with flexible availability for special holiday events.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks and activities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and engaging in recreational activities.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Compensation:
