    Come join us at Des Moines West KOA Holiday!   Located in the beautiful countryside of Central Iowa. No Railroads and No Interstate Traffic noise to disturb this peaceful location! Tons of stuff to see and do in Iowa! Ride a bike, Kayak the local river or visit our wonderful state fair!

    We are seeking dynamic and energetic people to join our activities and housekeeping departments. Our Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment in support of the housekeeping department at our campground. They are to clean accommodations and public common areas, including restrooms, while maintaining departmental standards.  The Activities specialist will host and facilitate all planned activities for guests, primarily on Saturdays and extended during special holidays.  Activities specialist will need to create an engaging environment for guest of all ages.  As an activities specialist you will be part of implementing new activities to enhance guest experience.

  • Compensation/Benefits
    • The rate of pay starts at $12 per hour – Pay is negotiable based on experience

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Be open to suggesting and implementing new activities to enhance guest experience.
  • Assist with housekeeping

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Report any issues or guest feedback to management.
