About Carbondale / Crystal River KOA Holiday
Colorado’s Rocky Mountain majesty surrounds campers in this lovely spot, spread along the banks of the Crystal River and at the foot of 12,965-ft Mount Sopris. Formerly known as BRB Crystal River Resort, it’s now a KOA. Many sites are right along the half mile of riverfront, including roomy RV Sites and fully equipped Deluxe Cabins with kitchens, baths, linens and heat for those cozy winter nights after skiing. The riverfront pavilion is available to large Cabin groups. The clubhouse offers billiards, games, a movie / book library and a TV / Wi-Fi lounge. This KOA lies between the resort areas of Aspen and Glenwood Springs. Enjoy a bike ride or walk directly from the campground on the Crystal Valley Trail, connecting to the Rio Grande Trail. Hiking, hunting, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, jeep tours, golf and fly-fishing are favorite activities. Cabins open all year. RV / tent camping open May 1–Oct. 31.
