Campground Management Maintenance Full time
What You'll Do
  • Supervise and assist maintenance staff and groundskeepers in daily operations.
  • Prioritize, assign, and complete maintenance work orders and repair requests.
  • Troubleshoot and repair campground electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, and facility systems.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs.
  • Lead maintenance and landscaping improvement projects.
  • Maintain tool, equipment, and supply inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, health regulations, and KOA standards.
  • Maintain required certifications, including Propane Manager certification.
  • Communicate daily operational updates and maintenance needs to the General Manager.
  • Help recruit, train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest concerns and maintenance requests.
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend, holiday, and emergency maintenance needs as required.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in maintenance, facilities management, construction, hospitality maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair systems.
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, work on uneven terrain, and perform physical labor.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel locally by automobile when necessary.
