San Antonio/Alamo KOA is seeking an experienced Skilled Maintenance Technician for a permanent, year-round position.
This is not a seasonal or work-kamper maintenance position. We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional who brings demonstrated technical skills, particularly in electrical troubleshooting and Wi-Fi/network systems.
This position pays at a higher level than our standard maintenance positions because we are looking for someone who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve more complex maintenance issues.
While electrical and Wi-Fi/network systems will be a primary focus, this position will also assist with plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, equipment, buildings, campground utilities, and general property maintenance.
We are looking for someone interested in making a minimum one-year commitment and becoming a dependable, long-term member of our maintenance team.
Opportunity for Advancement: This is a long-term position with room to grow. For the right individual, there is an opportunity to advance into a maintenance management or leadership position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, can troubleshoot and solve problems

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving problems.
We need someone who can look at an electrical, Wi-Fi, plumbing, HVAC, or facility problem and methodically determine what is causing it and how it should be repaired, rather than simply completing a checklist.
Reliability, good judgment, safety, professionalism, and the ability to communicate clearly with management and guests are essential.
This is a permanent position requiring a minimum one-year commitment. It is not intended as a seasonal work-kamper position. Compensation is higher than our standard maintenance position and will be based on demonstrated skills and experience.
