It’s water everywhere when you stay at this campground next to Lake Cumberland, chosen as the country’s “Best Lake” for 2023 by USA Today. Just one mile to the lakeshore, boat ramp and boat rentals. Fishing is great and so is cruising along the lake’s 1,255 miles of shoreline. Visit area attractions such as Cumberland Falls (dubbed the Niagara of the South), Daniel Boone National Forest / Big South Fork and Mammoth Cave. There is plenty to do at the KOA–play video games, mini golf, tennis or volleyball and then cool off in the pool.
