  • Responsibilities

    Front desk responsibilities include:

    • Helping book, check-in, and check out guests
    • Providing excellent customer service by solving any guest issues that come up

    Housekeeping responsibilities include:

    • Cleaning the bathhouse
    • Flipping camping cabins

    Grounds and maintenance include:

    • Mowing, edging, and repairing driveways as needed
    • Resetting and cleaning sites after guest departures
    • Firewood deliveries
  • Compensation/Benefits

    Compensation / Benefits

    • $15/hour
    • Free site, free electric
    • 20% discount in store
    • 20% discount on propane

    • End of season bonus if you complete your contract with us

Job Description

We are seeking customer service-oriented workampers (couples welcome!) for all positions at the Traverse City KOA Holiday. Our family-friendly, beautiful campground is 20 minutes away from waterfront Traverse City, and 45 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore. 

Currently hiring for:

  • Front desk and store
  • Grounds/maintenance
  • Housekeeping

Our season runs April 25, 2025 – October 13, 2025. 

Start date is flexible in April / May / June.

The Campground:

  • Currently 140 – expanding to 200 over the off-season
  • 95% transient / 5% seasonal sites
  • 24 cabins
  • Signature amenities include pool, two jumping pads, playground, dog park, RC track
